Quality Criteria: Application and Comments

The OVGU Catalog of Quality Criteria (QKK) constitutes the binding assessment framework for all study programs. The QKK consists of five parts:

A Formal criteria

B Subject-content criteria

C Conceptual criteria (C I: university, C II: study program)

D Cooperation

E Joint Degrees

Part A is reviewed by K33 when a study program is introduced. Part C I is reviewed by K33 during the quality cycle. All other criteria are reviewed by the faculty with the assistance of external experts during the quality cycle. The quality exchanges provide the platform for evaluating the criteria. The topics covered by the QKK are discussed and assessed during these exchanges. All criteria must be considered at least once during the quality cycle, but not necessarily at every SGG. During SGKs, it must be ensured that, even when the discussion focuses on specific topics, participants have the opportunity to comment on all criteria, explicitly with the active participation of external experts.

No. It is not necessary for every person to comment explicitly on every criterion. However, everyone must be given an active opportunity to comment on each criterion; that is, the QKK must be made known and participants must be invited to provide comments during the quality exchange.
