First, the study program is designed at the faculty on the basis of Constructive Alignment and within OVGU's teaching profile in accordance with the target agreement with the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The mission statement and guidelines for teaching and learning, as well as the quality criteria (in particular Part A), are applied in this process. The following documents are required to introduce a study program:
- the study program short description (Study Program Short Description template),
- the module catalog (if applicable, in draft form; Module Catalog template)
- the standard study plan,
- if applicable, a teaching export agreement (Teaching Export between Faculties template)
- if applicable, additional documents for special study programs (continuing education, dual, cooperation, etc.)
These documents are prepared in consultation with K33 and, where applicable, the Legal Office, and are subsequently considered by the KSL and the Senate, which must approve the introduction. Please note that, for a program beginning in the winter semester, the introduction decision must be made by December of the preceding year at the latest; for a program beginning in the summer semester, the decision must be made by June of the preceding year at the latest.
